Hippos

Hippos are big.
Hippos are small.
But the one I’m talking about
is just right for all.
He’s kind.
He’s friendly.
He’s a little bit sassy.
But the one thing he’s good at is
loving.
He’s short long and stubby.
But his eyes are very pretty.
His ears twitch every so often.
That’s what makes him so special.
You might think that hippos are
mean and vicious but
this one is just right for you.
You can see him today at your
local zoo.
I love watching hippos at the zoo, especially when they are swimming. I am amazed that an animal so big can be so graceful.
